The Municipal Council Hall is housed in the former Primary School, which was built in 1906 by Andreas Syngros, following a recommendation by the then Minister of Education, Theodoros Vellianitis, who hailed from Paxos. It is a rectangular building with numerous neoclassical architectural elements, measuring 15.70 by 10 meters. The architectural interest lies in the symmetrical arrangement of the openings (windows) with the vertical pilasters, the projecting cornices, and the triangular pediment above the main entrance. The roof is covered with tiles and finials on the main facade. Next to the main building, there is a courtyard, and at the rear, there is an imposing entrance consisting of stone columns and a triangular pediment, along with a large gate. It has been designated as a Historic Preservable Monument and a Work of Art.
