The former Primary School was built in 1906 by Andreas Syngros, following a suggestion from the then Minister of Education, Theodoros Vellianitis, who hailed from Paxos. It is a single-story rectangular building with dimensions of 11.50 x 10 meters, featuring numerous neoclassical architectural elements. The architectural interest lies in the symmetrical arrangement of the openings (windows), projecting cornices, pediments, and the triangular pediment above the main entrance. There is a courtyard at the rear and a side entrance with a large gate.
The school hall and the courtyard host performances and concerts. The classical and modern music festival takes place there every year, while it is also used for various art events and exhibitions.
